Overview

Element are seeking a Network Analyst to support the Design team with data collection, analysis and design related activities, maintaining standards, updating processes and procedures, preparing designs, performing discovery work, capacity planning and supporting PoC initiatives.  You will will have an established background in Networking, with a strong bias in network planning, data gathering and analysis.

 

Responsibilities

  • Experience of data gathering and analysis as part of a Network Transformation programme will be very useful
  • Responsible for timely collection and analysis of data required for Network Transformation programme and other associated design activities
  • Maintain and update standards required by the Network platform and wider teams
  • Ensure data necessary for capacity planning is available in required formats, analysing the data and producing recommendations
  • Assist with design activities for the Element network
  • Assist with PoC deployments in the Network space, and provide ad-hoc assistance to colleagues in the Operations teams

Skills / Qualifications

  • Previous experience of Cisco networking, to CCNP level, in either a support or design role for a medium/large enterprise organisation
  • Previous experience of data gathering at scale as part of a transformation programme
  • Experience in producing standardised network documentation packs for sites or solutions, including producing documentation from device configurations “from scratch”
  • Experience in using scripts / automation tools to collect data from network devices
  • Experience of Operational support of WAN services running on IPSec or MPLS platforms
