Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Software Engineer who will be primarily responsible for developing information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.

 

This position will be based at Barsha Heights , Dubai , UAE

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET MVC, .NET Core, and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze user needs, and translate them into technical specifications
  • Architect efficient and scalable solutions that adhere to best practices and industry standards
  • Develop data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
  • Perform database management tasks, including schema design, optimization, and query tuning
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms to support our business
  • Implement and maintain DevOps practices for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring
  • Lead deployments and release management activities, ensuring smooth and seamless delivery of software releases.
    Conduct code reviews and promote a culture of technical excellence
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development, and advocate for their adoption where applicable

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred along with 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Microsoft technologies
  • Proficiency in .NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, and other relevant programming languages and proficiency in mobile development frameworks such as Xamarin, React Native, or Flutter.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms and a strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with visualization tools and libraries for creating interactive user interfaces and proven track record of database management using SQL Server or similar relational databases along with hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions and effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
