Element has an exciting opportunity for an Graduate Test Engineer to join our Oxford facility. Due to the nature of our work, you must be a UK National. You will carry out testing on Fuel / Structural / Avionics aerospace systems for effects of lightning. You will join a growing specialist team, working for a leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company.

 

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out testing, recording and assessing the test data
  • Photographing the samples/set up and writing reports on the findings of the test programmes
  • Interact with customers on technical issues and questions
  • Supporting other members of the team in diverse test programmes

Skills / Qualifications

  • Ideally you will be a Graduate from the engineering (STEM) sector, but we would also consider candidates with transferable experience from within the Manufacturing or Production sector 
  • Candidates with HNC / HND will also be welcomed
  • Practical hands-on approach, aptitude for experimental testing and problem solving
  • Knowledge of High Voltage systems would be beneficial but not a requirement
  • Possess good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Ideally a Full UK driving licence 
  • UK national for Security Clearance
