Overview

Element has an opportunity for a good administrator to become a Technical Coordinator within our Certification team based at High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing companies in the global Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.

 

Responsibilities

Once training complete, you will be tasked with the following;

 

  • Review audit reports, non-conformances, contract reviews and associated documentation to ensure technical compliance with scheme and accreditation rules
  • Approve documents for certification if they meet the relevant Standard’s technical requirements
  • Maintain and update scheme owner’s online portal
  • Carry out associated administrative tasks as required for the scheme
  • Respond to and resolve promptly to enquiries relating to certification 
  • Attain, maintain and apply a defined level of technical competence in agreed areas to ensure consistent technical judgments are made at all times
  • Maintain professional work standards 
  • Work with manager, colleagues and team to increase knowledge of role and Standards and the service provided by all, improving technical and decision-making skills for self and the team

Skills / Qualifications

  • Secondary education or equivalent by experience
  • Good IT and communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Dependable, reliable, able to produce consistently high quality of work 
  • Persistent and highly organized: capable of meeting deadlines, seeing problems through and overcoming obstacles
  • Good personal organisation and presentation
  • Strong customer focus and attention to detail
  • Limited travel will be required
  • Food manufacturing / chemical industry experience would be ideal but not essential 
  • Hybrid working on offer after training
