Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Associate Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.  The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities

Management System

Adhere to Element Quality and SHE management system policies and procedures

Assist with hazard identification and risk assessment exercises with their areas of responsibility

Monitor day to day health safety in the area of responsibility and ensure all hazards, near misses and accidents are reported. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Perform Geotechnical site investigation and instrument monitoring

Responsible for data reporting of the site investigation, land instrument monitoring

To maintain instruments and equipment in good working conditions

Practise and follow workplace safe work procedures and policies, report any unsafe work conditions 

Positive work attitude and work well in a team

Skills / Qualifications

  • No experience required
  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Keen interest in geotechnical instrumentation, soil investigation, building&structural works
  • Ability to meet deadlines and highly committed team player
