Element has an opportunity for an Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.  The engineer position must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

• Maintains Network and system stability with the group IT team.
• Work with Windows or Linux based clients and servers, which host a variety of services.
• Maintain and patch servers/applications.
• Level 1 and 2 support.
• System/software installation and configuration. Computer hardware setup including printers and other related. Computer hardware and network troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Azure and Exchange Online management, and VMware Environment support.
• Keeps track of inventory levels of equipment and materials.
• Maintain user instructions/manuals.
• Maintains and updates record keeping system and other pertinent IT related project documentations.
• Performs data entry and maintenance of records such as project documents, user instructions, general reports and/or systems errors.
• Focus on troubleshooting and ability to work through process of elimination is required.
• Aids on the IT infrastructure development including the deployment of new technologies and solutions.
• Define core Global Security Systems & Technology policies and document procedures.
• Review, evaluate & recommends solutions relating to hardware and software acquisitions and/or network updates.
• Work with network administrators and hardware technicians.
• Liaise with IT vendors for purchasing, licensing, renewals and supports.

Logs new encountered technical issues and concerns.

• Shell scripts, such as bash, windows batch/power shell, etc.
• Familiar to Linux and Windows systems.
• Familiar to virtual machine management system, such as VMware.
• Experience on network infrastructures and basic setup of gateway, firewall and VPN (experience with Fortinet is preferred);
• Knowledge on relational database administration (create, update, import, export, user management), such as MySQL.
• Knowledge on serial/parallel protocol and cabling is an advantage
