Overview

Element has an opportunity for an HR Generalist (Global Functions) to support our Group Functions on a 3 month fixed term basis. In this role you will provide full employee-life cycle HR support for several global functions in the execution of high quality, consistent HR processes such as Onboarding, Offboarding, Performance Management, Employee relations, and preparation for annual programs such as merit reviews and annual engagement surveys.

 

You will provide a full generalist HR service across the functional departments including Finance, Technology, Legal, HR, Communications, Commercial Excellence, Corporate Development and Marketing. This individual will act as first point of contact for managers and employees in the functions dealing with queries and escalating to HR Business Partners where appropriate.


You will have experience working in a generalist HR role with good employment law knowledge and have good verbal and written communication skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively support the delivery of HR Processes within the functions including performance management, people development, recruitment, compensation and employee relations activity
  • Carry out data analysis, reporting for projects such as compensation reviews
  • Support the implementation of a variety of human resource programs and processes
  • Support onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle processes
  • Ensure full compliance of all employment data in line with GDPR standards

Skills / Qualifications

  • CIPD level 5 or equivalent (or studying towards this qualification)
  • Up to date Employment Law and best practices knowledge for the UK (with knowledge of other countries being advantageous)
  • Experience dealing with employee relations such as grievances, disciplinaries and redundancies
  • Effective at data analysis skills and reporting
  • Works well under own initiative
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written
  • Effective time management and problem solving skills
  • Strong MS Office skills
