Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Test Lead to join our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team.  The NDT Team Lead will be responsible for leading the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role involves managing daily operations, providing technical support, and supporting business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of NDT methods, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

 

The role is based in Jalan Boon Lay, Singapore

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the NDT team, providing guidance, training, and support
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in NDT technologies and methods and provide expert technical support and guidance on NDT methods and practices
  • Ensure all NDT activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Plan and implement short-term and long-term growth strategies for the NDT department
  • Provide technical support to the business development team in securing new projects and clients

Skills / Qualifications

  • Level III Certification in Radiographic Testing (RT). Certification as Level III in other NDT methods will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in NDT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of various NDT techniques (e.g., ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
