Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Generalist/Colleague Experience Manager to join our HR team. Based in our Breda lab, this role will be pivotal in supporting the in-country HR function in the Netherlands and Belgium.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the smooth HR & payroll operations in close collaboration with an HR admin and our external provider
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and actively guide managers and employees across all entities
  • Collaborate with works councils and trade unions and conduct negotiations about new collective labour agreements together with the General Manager
  • Collaborate with the Global Talent Acquisition team to ensure current recruitment and future resourcing needs are met
  • Supporting the delivery of recruitment, onboarding and internal succession planning
  • Deliver the cyclical in-country HR process / transactional activity and HR projects
  • Drive engagement and wellbeing, reflecting our commitment to the health and happiness of our colleagues

Skills / Qualifications

  • To be successful in this position, you preferably have a degree in Business, HR, Management or similar. Furthermore, you should have professional working experience, preferably in operational HR or a similar role, strong communication skills, and customer service orientation. Experience within Payroll is needed to fulfil this role

  • Knowledge of HR administration processes is necessary, and you must have a problem-solving approach with a “can do” attitude

  • Ability to work efficiently and independently and have proven stakeholder management skills, allowing you to deal with various people, locally and regionally

  • Be self-motivated, people - and team-oriented. Furthermore, you are fluent in Dutch and English, both oral and written

    Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or another relevant field
  • Strong employee relations background
  • Knowledge of the Dutch and Belgian employment laws and regulations and CLAs
  • Well-versed in working with works council - Netherlands and Belgium
  • Used to work in global organisations in faster-paced environments
  • Demonstrates the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels
