Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your Finance career within a Global testing, inspection and certification TIC business.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide financial data, analysis and insight to the general managers

  • Business partner with the GM to drive business growth
  • Manage local audit and statutory accounts process and ensure compliance with other mandatory regulations
  • Preparation of budgeting and forecast planning
  • Own the month end close, from a review perspective, deliver accurate and meaningful daily KPI, monthly reports and management information to support the GM and BU
  • Evolve the financial control environment, implement robust and scalable processes to ensure strong controls are in place that align with the global standards
  • Support capital expenditure in both process preparation of business cases along with tracking expenditure and financial returns
  • Ad hoc assignments / projects to support local finance teams, GBS and the wider business divisional strategy.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant and or proven experience as a Business Partner / Finance Manager
  • Good ability to communicate clearly to provide commentary to management team
  • Good team working skill and positive attitude and pro-active thinking, initiative taking and flexible approach
  • Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Czech and English
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Univeristy degree in Economics and Finance
  • Ability to demonstrate credibility and proven success in driving improvements as a value-added partner
  • Analytic mindset
