  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join the team.

    Responsibilities

    • Testing support requirements including test piece preparation and operation of engineering workshop equipment
    • Operation of rubber processing equipment (mixing and moulding), test set-up and calibration
    • Operation of a variety of mechanical and chemical exposure test equipment including high pressure equipment
    • The role will involve all aspects of operating pressure vessels, including setting up plumbing, pressure testing, calibration, inspecting and operatingOperating workshop equipment
    • Measurement and inspection of test samplesApplication of strain gauges to test samples

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Experience working within a laboratory or production environment
    • Experience with flammable gases and fluids and an understanding of safe working practices
    • Experience working with materials
    • Experience with test equipment
    • Experience with machining and workshop tools
