Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial health of the organisation, evaluate financial information, conduct analysis and reporting.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the GM and Operations teams to influence decision making
  • Ensure integrity of sales forecast and help drive local team to achieve targets
  • Ensure local compliance with all Element group financial policies & processes, including DoA
  • Work with Dubai GBS to prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Ensure the accounts comply where appropriate with IFRS, and any local accounting and tax regulations.
  • Perform Budget vs. Actual and trend analysis for the lab and provide a challenge to operational teams.
  • Actively manage working capital and A/R, credit, and collections
  • Support Operations in developing capex investment cases
  • Develop, maintain and monitor the lab’s annual financial budget.
  • Manage and finalise company statutory requirements: tax, corporate secretarial matters, audit etc. timely

Skills / Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with internationally recognized qualification
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience sufficient to contribute to the commercial development of the business with proven experience in all aspects of accounting in a service-oriented environment.
  • Strong general ledger, internal and external reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and basic income tax knowledge
  • Audit experience from a recognized audit firm (preferred but not essential)
     
  • Willingness and motivation to work with non-Finance partners in understanding the business, outgoing personality
