Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Operations Coordinator to join our Warringtonfire business providing operational and project administrative support to the Certification team. This is a great opportunity to progress your career within a Global Testing, Inspection and Certification business.

 

Warringtonfire are a global leader in fire resistance testing for construction, furniture, marine and rail sectors and specialise in testing passive fire protection products, including fire doors, structural steelwork protection, fire stopping products and large-scale testing of cladding. We offer independent, locally accredited fire resistance testing services for passive fire protection products for both commercial and domestic building types.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and project administrative support within the Certification team, coordinating activities and progressing work through to completion
  • Liaising with customers to progress applications and assist with enquiries
  • Co-ordinate and interact with internal departments and provide operational support to technical & sales colleagues 
  • Responsible for processing customer quotations, applications, purchase orders, sample requests, labelling requests and FPC audits
  • Issue Certificates to customers
  • Set-up new client accounts within internal systems
  • Process invoices & credit notes and deal with invoice queries
  • Monitor Work in Progress and liaise with clients to resolve any queries
  • Attend customer update meetings as required
  • Assist in the ongoing development of operational processes and work procedures
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects as and when required

Skills / Qualifications

  • Can work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Hardworking & proactive team player
  • Efficient & organised
  • Possess a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong IT skills. Previous experience of customer relationship management tools (CRM) and / or LIMS systems would be advantageous
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships 
  • Previous experience working in a technical support/ operational role, or project support experience in a technical organisation advantageous
  • Able to travel to our Birchwood site daily, free parking!
