Overview

 

Element has an opportunity for a Chemist who will be primarily responsible for performing tests for construction building materials.

 

The role is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Competent in GCMS, GC-FID, FTIR, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC, EDXRF, TGA, Arc Spark operation. Able to provide guidance on equipment troubleshooting and offer technical training to new hire.
  • Well trained on laboratory accreditation management system (ISO 17025 : 2017), capable in new method development and ability of method validation of in-house method.
  • Establish new capability for the lab based on client/project/market demand
  • Lead the team to deliver the routine/daily task on time
  • Responsible for the quality assurance and maintaining the SAC certification

Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree in Chemistry with 2 years of experience
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and good reporting skills
