Overview

Element Environmental Laboratory has an excellent opportunity for a Support Services Co-Ordinator at their Deeside site. The Support Services Co-Ordinator will work alongside the Support Services Manager providing a vital resource to the company’s Human Resources department by managing administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, and assisting with various HR processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department and contributing to a positive employee experience.

 

Element Deeside is the largest analytical chemistry laboratory within the Element Group and the market leading UK laboratory undertaking the testing of soils, waters, wastes, oils, NAPLs, ambient air, soil vapours and gases from all over the world. The laboratory undertakes high volume routine analysis as well as offering bespoke method development, technical support and hydrocarbon forensic interpretations to enhance the support we can deliver. The laboratory has an international reputation for excellence and supports clients that require a higher level of technical expertise, reliability in data quality and seamless project management from sample collection to timely delivery of data in the format of choice.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Employee Records: This includes updating both physical and digital files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • General Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and note taking
  • Assisting at all stages of the employee life cycle: Including coordinating recruitment activities such as interviews and onboarding new employees
  • Supporting Employee Relations: Addressing employee queries, assisting with administration, and contributing to a positive work environment
  • Payroll Assistance: Providing necessary employee information to the payroll department, including leave records and overtime hours
  • Policy Management: Ensuring all colleagues are adhering to company policy such as Dignity at work and Sickness absence
