Overview

We are seeking a motivated Associate Infrastructure & Observability Engineer to join our Infrastructure Observability and Tooling Team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to grow their skills in infrastructure operations, management and maintenance while contributing to automation and monitoring initiatives. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure our infrastructure remains secure, reliable, and efficient.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance activities on server, network, and storage infrastructure devices (e.g., patching, bug fixes, configuration remediation).
  • Build and develop automated processes to ensure maintenance tasks are reliable, efficient, and repeatable.
  • Collaborate on observability and monitoring initiatives, leveraging data-driven approaches to improve infrastructure performance and reliability.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.

Skills / Qualifications

Essential:

  • Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Good understanding of server operating systems.
  • Good understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Good understanding of network technologies and protocols.
  • Programming/scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python) — able to write and adapt scripts for practical use, without needing to be an expert.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable / Growth Opportunities:

  • Exposure to automation frameworks and monitoring and observability tools.
  • Opportunities to gain relevant certifications.
  • Experience contributing to process improvements and infrastructure tooling initiatives.
