Element Materials Technologies is looking to recruit Test Technician to perform routine/non-routine maintenance and support testing activities within our Exposure gas laboratories.
This role requires the successful candidate to be responsible for performing a variety of repair, installation, and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning, safety, and reliability of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role requires technical/engineering skills, problem-solving ability, and adherence to safety protocols to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency by supporting the testing team with any maintenance and testing requirements.

•  Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical and testing equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules to reduce equipment breakdowns.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, work orders, and emergency repairs.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other maintenance machinery safely.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and equipment diagrams.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment, fixtures, and systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with, environmental, quality and company safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Procurement of testing essentials and may at times be needed to support testing activities
  • Setup tests in line with internal procedures and client’s requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or engineering training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/engineering fundamentals
• Ability to diagnose and repair issues quickly and effectively.
• Proficiency with tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills for logging work orders and reporting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team and strong work ethic to get projects complete.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in various environments.
• Full training will be provided to ensure all aspects of the role are covered
