Overview

Element has an exciting opportunity for a Goods In Technician to join our diverse team on a permanent contract at our new Birchwood location. This is a great opportunity for an individual who would like to work for a global company involved in Testing, Inspection and Certification of products and who can develop in the role and take ownership of the goods in operation.

 

The hours for this role are 6am-2pm Mon-Fri with flexibility to cover holidays.

 

Responsibilities

This role requires close coordination with the production and testing teams to ensure that goods are processed efficiently and accurately, meeting both quality standards and production timelines.

 

The goods in operator is responsible for:

  • Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
  • Keeping records of all deliveries
  • Organising and delivering goods from store to the department
    which requires it
  • Maintaining standards in stores area
  • Monitoring stock levels and communicating levels of stock
  • Ensuring yard area and walkways are free from materials and
    debris
  • Monitoring the skips and ensuring no contamination
  • Liaising with coordinators to ensure deliveries are on time
  • FLT gas orders

 

Skills / Qualifications

  • Ideally a FLT license but not a necessity
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communicator
  • Organised
  • Keen attention to detail
