Overview

Element has a current opening for a Stability Coordinator to join our growing team is Mississauga. The main function of the Stability Coordinator is to support stability chamber set up, labelling, qualifications and mappings, stage client samples, log into system, labeling and placement in chamber, set pull schedules, pull samples and arrange shipment to clients or internal testing, and monitor chambers and react to mitigate / rectify any out of specification conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Works with direct manager and clients to write and approve stability protocols, log in samples and set stability pulls in accordance with client demands.
  • Assist in stability chamber qualifications, mappings and repairs
  • Communicates status of work daily and collaborates with team.
  • Handles routine matters and problems, escalates moderately complex or complicated issues to others.
  • Strong focus on single processes or multiple tasks that are closely related to a single process.
  • May train and mentor new colleagues.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of stability program ability to learn computer programs and manual systems quickly.
  • Experience with mapping software, stability tracking software and LIMS systems required.
  • Good time management and prioritization
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan daily work and arrange activities to meet deadlines.
  • Follows instructions, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of cost control measures and how 5S SQDC principals impact lab flow.
  • University degree in science or related field
  • 2-3 Years lab experience.
