Overview

We are looking for an Applied Generative AI Consultant to design, implement, and optimise Element applied generative AI solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and business acumen to help organisations leverage AI for measurable impact. You will guide users through the full lifecycle—from ideation and proof-of-concept to deployment and scaling—ensuring solutions are ethical, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

 

Responsibilities

User Advisory & Strategy:

  • Assess business needs and identify opportunities for generative AI adoption.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with users to understand business challenges and identify AI opportunities.
  • Develop AI roadmaps and solution architectures tailored to business objectives.
  • Contribute to internal research initiatives and publish findings on emerging generative AI trends.

Solution Design & Implementation:

  • Architect end-to-end generative AI solutions, including model selection, data pipelines, and deployment frameworks.
  • Oversee proof-of-concept development and validate technical feasibility before scaling.
  • Recommend and configure generative AI models (LLMs, multimodal systems) for specific use cases.
  • Oversee integration of AI capabilities into business workflows and platforms.
  • Recommend on technology stack selection and integration strategies for generative AI solutions.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide guidance on data preparation, model fine-tuning, and deployment strategies.
  • Advise on MLOps, cloud infrastructure, and scalability considerations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across teams.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to ethical AI principles, data privacy regulations, and security standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for AI systems.
  • Support users in selecting cloud platforms and optimizing cost-performance trade-offs.

Training & Enablement:

  • Design and deliver workshops to educate teams on generative AI fundamentals and advanced techniques.
  • Create documentation, playbooks, and knowledge repositories for ongoing support.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for continuous improvement and innovation in AI adoption.

 

Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience in industry-specific AI applications (finance, healthcare, retail, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
  • Business & Strategy Alignment: Ability to translate technical AI concepts into actionable business strategies and ROI models.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in sectors like finance, healthcare, or government.
  • Change Management: Experience in guiding organizations through AI adoption and digital transformation.
  • Vendor & Tool Evaluation: Familiarity with leading AI platforms and ability to recommend best-fit solutions for the users.
  • Ethical AI & Governance: Expertise in bias mitigation, responsible AI practices, and risk management frameworks.
  • Training & Enablement: Ability to design and deliver executive-level workshops and technical training programs.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Strong presentation and negotiation skills for C-suite and technical audiences.
  • Emerging Tech Awareness: Knowledge of trends in generative AI, multimodal systems, and AI-driven automation.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI consulting, solution architecture, or applied machine learning.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI models, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure etc) and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
