Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Engineering Manager - Development.  In this role you will be reporting to the General Manager for the Element Digital Engineering business, a leading provider of specialist engineering consultancy services, supporting clients across highly regulated and technically demanding industries including Nuclear, Aerospace, Energy, and Defence, both in the UK and internationally. As Engineering Manager you will be a key member of the leadership team leading the Development Engineering team with full accountable for the performance of that part of the business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the safe operation of the Engineering Office and all colleagues and visitors who operate within it.
  • Accountable for the performance of the Engineering Team ensuring delivery of all financial and customer commitments and adherences to all Safety and Quality requirements.
  • Maintain contact and relationships with clients in line with company policies with accountability to develop and maximise the revenue and profit value of named accounts.
  • Recruit and retain top talent to support the performance and growth of the business.
  • Building a strong team culture through ensuring a positive team environment that promotes collaboration, diversity and inclusivity, open communication, and adherence to company values.
