Overview

LabVIEW Developer
Element is looking for a talented LabVIEW Developer to help build the next generation of test, measurement, and calibration solutions. In this role, you’ll develop LabVIEW applications, contribute to the in‑house developed Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) platform, and design software and hardware solutions that support automated testing and data logging.
 
You’ll work across the full development cycle and collaborate closely with the central system team, production, technical support, and external partners. As part of a small and agile team, you’ll need to be flexible, self‑driven, organized, and a strong communicator. Your personal qualities will be key to your success in this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop our LabVIEW‑based calibration platform, including drivers and automated test functions
  • Create process documentation, user guides, and training materials
  • Support our Local Technical Support (LTS) teams
  • Manage system administration, maintenance, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate development work with external consultants
  • Support rollouts in new labs and countries

Skills / Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or similar technical background
  • Proven experience with LabVIEW (LabVIEW Core 3 / Certified LabVIEW developer)
  • Several years of software development experience
  • Knowledge of test and measurement systems
  • Structured, detail‑oriented, and quality‑driven
  • Flexible, collaborative, and comfortable working independently
