Overview

Element are looking to hire a proactive and relationship-driven Retention & Collections Co-ordinator to join our team at High Wycombe. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening customer relationships, improving cash collection, and reducing disputes and client withdrawals.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support effective cash collection and minimise disputes
  • Proactively chase outstanding invoices ahead of audits via phone, email, and MS Teams to ensure timely payment
  • Work closely with Operations, Credit Control, and Management teams to resolve customer financial queries quickly and efficiently
  • Escalate complex issues where appropriate to ensure swift resolution and a positive customer experience
  • Support initiatives to reduce client withdrawals due to non-payment
  • Produce monthly reports for Senior Management, highlighting collections performance, disputes, pending suspensions, and key trends
  • Develop a strong understanding of certification processes (full training provided) to effectively resolve customer queries
  • Assist with annual processes and handle any related customer or financial queries.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in credit control, collections, or customer account management
  • Proactive approach with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Hybrid role, with 2 days per week attendance in our High Wycombe office
