  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our testing team at FIRA International in Stevenage.


    This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a global testing, inspection and certification business. Experience is not necessary as full technical and safety training will be provided, as well as necessary PPE.


    • Perform strength, safety and durability on all types of furniture and related products
    • Ensure that all samples are correctly identified, handled and processed in accordance with defined procedures
    • Set up and run test equipment
    • Ensure that test results are accurately recorded and prepare draft test reports
    • Participate in meetings with clients

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • A knowledge of Microsoft software i.e. Word and Excel
    • The ability to undertake, and prioritise a number of jobs simultaneously
    • The ability to work under own initiative or as part of a team
    • A highly motivated individual who consistently produces a high quality of work
