Element has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. In this customer-focused role, you'll be responsible for managing quotation requests, supporting customers throughout the sales process, and building strong, lasting relationships.

 

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes a proactive approach to delivering exceptional service. If you're an effective communicator with a passion for problem-solving and building relationships, we'd love to hear from you.

 

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries and requests for quotations (RFQs) via phone and email
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations for standard products and services
  • Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted point of contact
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer accounts and support business growth
  • Engage with customers proactively through phone, email, and web meetings
  • Obtain pricing and lead times using standard pricing tools and systems
  • Process quotations, sales invoices, and provide order status updates
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure a positive experience
  • Handle requests for information, including shipping and delivery enquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and customer information within the CRM system
  • Achieve sales and account development goals through effective customer engagement
  • Continuously develop your knowledge of Element's products and services through training and coaching opportunities

Skills / Qualifications

About You

You'll bring a customer-first mindset and the ability to build strong relationships while managing multiple priorities effectively.

 

We're looking for someone with:

  • At least 3 years' experience in customer service, with quotation experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to solve problems and respond effectively to customer needs
  • Confidence communicating with customers and colleagues at all levels
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, with CRM experience preferred
  • The ability to interpret customer requirements, contracts, and technical documentation
  • Experience developing proposals, cost estimates, and terms and conditions is an advantage
  • The ability to remain calm and effective when managing deadlines and competing priorities
  • Experience interpreting testing procedures and requirements would be beneficial
  • A valid driver's licence with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy
