Overview

Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for transforming complex information into actionable business insights? Element is hiring a new Revenue Operations Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting our commercial organisation through robust reporting, performance analysis, and data governance.  


Our new colleague will join us based up to 3 days per week from our beautiful new office in Edinburgh Park where we enjoy state-of-the-art facilities including collaboration spaces, huddle rooms, open-concept layout, and abundant natural light. With fantastic links by train, tram, commuter routes, as well as having designated parking, we are well connected for colleagues across the central belt of Scotland. 


Working closely with our Commercial Revenue Operations Senior Manager, you will help drive informed decision-making across Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Commercial Leadership by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on analysing performance, improving processes, enhancing data quality, and uncovering opportunities that contribute directly to commercial growth and customer success.

 

With responsibility spanning Power BI reporting, KPI management, customer feedback analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, this role offers significant exposure across the business and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on organisational performance. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Reporting and Analytics  
  • Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Produce and analyse commercial performance reporting covering:
    • Leads  
    • Quotes  
    • Opportunities  
    • Revenue  
    • Invoice performance  
    • Product and line-level sales analysis  
  • Monitor report accuracy and ensure reporting outputs remain aligned with business requirements
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to support commercial decision making
  • Administer our Voice of the Customer (VoC) programme - manage customer survey distribution, monitor response rates, analyse customer feedback, produce VoC reports and presentations
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and commercial analysis requests from stakeholders

Skills / Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Experience in a reporting, business intelligence, sales operations, commercial operations, or data analyst role
  • Degree in a relevant field is advantageous (e.g. Maths, Tech)
  • Strong Power BI experience including report creation and dashboard maintenance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Other Desirable Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Experience using Dataiku or similar ETL / data transformation tools 
  • Understanding of sales pipeline management and revenue reporting 
  • Experience supporting  a customer satisfaction programme
  • Knowledge of KPI development and performance management frameworks
  • SQL knowledge
  • Some ad hoc business travel may be required in line with business projects / demand
