Warringtonfire, part of the Element group are looking for an onsite Senior Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Advisor.
This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust HSE management system across the fire resistance testing laboratory at the Warrington Birchwood Park site with some travel to our Wednesbury Lab and supporting other locations, through reporting SHE Coordinators. They will ensure full compliance with all applicable health and safety legislation, environmental regulations and accreditation requirements.
Reporting to the Senior Cluster General Manager the SHE Advisor works closely with laboratory, operations, and engineering teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks whilst supporting business objectives within the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) environment. Responsibilities include monitoring environmental performance, managing waste streams and emissions, conducting audits and inspections, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring effective regulatory engagement. This is a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible testing facility, while supporting the delivery of high-quality fire
resistance testing services to clients and stakeholders.
