  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager responsible for developing our management system and supply chain certification business in the Republic and Northern Ireland, working with existing and new accounts to maximise new business sales revenue and deliver and industry leading service level.


    • Establish a strong relationship with existing certification clients to ensure the remain happy with the services provided and allow them to understand the full range of services offered by the Element group
    • Build beneficial relationships across the consultant community to make sure BM TRADA are given the opportunity to quote for certification work
    • Identify potential key accounts and introduce our range of services to these
    • Attend events across Ireland to raise the profile of BM TRADA and secure new business opportunities
    • Produce accurate and competitive proposals for certification ensuring we meet all accreditation requirements
    • Use our CRM system to record all opportunities and activity in an accurate and timely manner
    • Achieve sales targets and goals as set by the Certification Sales Manager
    • Attend sales meetings within the UK monthly
    • Provide accurate up to date reports to Certification Sales Manager
      at all times work in a safe and responsible manner

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Good knowledge of certification, third party auditing and the certification industry
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Self motivated and determined to succeed
    • Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks correctly
