• Payroll Administrator (6 month fixed term)

  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a 6 month fixed term Payroll Administrator to join its Payroll team in Newbridge, Edinburgh.


    This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your payroll skills in a fast-paced, challenging role offering flexible working hours over a 5 day week.


    • Administration of payroll for circa 1,700 employees (multiple payrolls)
    • Processing payroll information - i.e. new starts and leavers, overtime, salary amendments, hours changes, etc.
    • Resolving paryoll queries via phone and email
    • Monthly Inland Revenue reconciliations
    • Pension scheme administration
    • End of Year payroll procedures


    Skills / Qualifications

    • Experience in paryoll administration for a large employee number
    • Experience with ADP payroll systems would be advantageous
    • Strong MS Excel skills
    • Excellent communication skills are essential and the ability to work well with colleagues across all levels
    • A professional team player who works well using own initiative
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills are essential
