• VOC Laboratory Manager

  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a VOC Laboratory Manager to join its growing team in Deeside.


    • Manage the VOC laboratory and VOC Prep area
    • Ensure results are reported on time by managing colleagues and workload
    • Ensure safety and quality standards are exceeded
    • Support the VOC area technically
    • Assist in production, instrument maintenance and support
    • Liaise with engineers and suppliers to support the VOC department
    • Ensure stock levels are maintained
    • Maintain and improve methods as appropriate  

    Skills / Qualifications

    • A chemistry background and education to degree level is preferable but not essential
    • Previous relevant experience in a similar role
    • Supervisor or management experience is required
    • GCMS experience
    • Highly motivated and organised professional
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to lead and coach a team 
    • Excellent communicator and a clear thinker
