Element has an opportunity for a new Internal Audit Manager - Information Technology based from our Shared Services Centre in Newbridge, Edinburgh. The aim of Element Internal Audit (EIA) is to be a flexible technology led / technology enabled audit and assurance capability that supports the business to manage risk, improve control and ultimately help to serve our customers.
The purpose of this role is to support EIA to achieve that aim, by providing independent, objective assessment of the effectiveness of internal control, risk management practices, and corporate governance processes across all Element businesses and support functions, from an information technology perspective.
The role will therefore work with the Group Internal Audit Director to establish and execute a rolling, risk based, audit programme covering Element’s IT landscape as part of that strategy. This requires a hands on approach, to plan, execute, deliver and report audits and reviews as directed by the Group Internal Audit Director. Wherever possible using Data Analytics and similar digital methods to plan, conduct, report and follow up.
