Overview

PCTEST Engineering Laboratory, proud to be part of Element, has an opportunity for Test Technician for our Korea operations.

This position applies problem solving skills to evaluate wireless devices for international compliance. Determining compliance requires the understanding and application of test standards, diagnosing problems, analyzing results, and troubleshooting unexpected performance in a fast-paced environment and industry.  All training provided. This position will be based in Suwon, South Korea and requires permanent residence in South Korea.

 

Responsibilities

  • Experience for performing EMI/RF and Radio testing mainly for wireless communications products according to FCC, KC and CE standards, but not required
  • Interface with customers on a technical level (especially for wireless communication)
  • Create test reports
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of quality and efficiency of testing
  • Collaborating daily with managers and test engineers
  • Synchronize with the Project Management and other test teams (e.g. LTE, Bluetooth, WI-Fi, EIRP, RSE …) on current projects
  • Knowledge of testing for LTE, 5G and mmWave will be a plus
  • • Retail Testing Experience is a plus

Skills / Qualifications

  • Current or Completed Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Assisting in data measurement and analysis in programs such as Google Documents, MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Team player and leadership experience a plus
  • Motivation to learn and progress
  • GPA 3.5 or higher preferred
  • Rotational weekend shift as necessary
  • Ability to work 2nd shift hours
  • Ability to work overseas business trips over 6 months per year
  • Ability to lift up to 33lbs/15 kg assisted and unassisted
  • Bilingual Korean/English
