Element has an opportunity for a Comformance Engineer to join our growing team. Applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment. Assuming additional departmental tasks delegated by Management. Works on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects. Collaborate, using sound judgment to determine adaptations in methods for routine aspects of assignments. Trains, develops and communicates with staff as well as assesses performance on a regular basis.
RF/Protocol Testing for wireless devices to Industry and Operator test plan requirements
Generate and review laboratory test reports. Generate daily internal reports
Contribute to new test plans and develop new ways to streamline testing
Keep abreast of any changes to test plans and schedules that impact our testing requirements (current and future), while contributing to overall team project testing evolution
Collaborate daily with managers and test engineers regarding project status updates for issues, deadlines, testing requirements, etc
Interface and communicate with staff and customers in a technical and professional manner. Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills
Performs additional department task delegated by the management
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Required
Organized, quick learner, team player, detail oriented, comfortable with troubleshooting
UG 3.0 GPA or higher preferred
Contributions to the department regularly
Continued development of broad knowledge and skills of RF/Protocol testing and technical knowledge
Continued evaluation, selection, and application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects
Apply advanced knowledge of principles and practices
Advanced function within multi-disciplinary environment, multi-taking environment
Organization of projects (electronic status, physical HW organization, charging organization, general cleanliness of the lab area)
Understands when and how to reach out for mgmt. support and follow the instructions and guidance of management support
Ability to work overtime as needed
