Senior RPA Developer / Solution Architect

Job Locations UK-London


Element have an opportunity for a Senior RPA Developer / Solution Architect to design and develop Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions globally. Although linked to our team in our London, UK headquarters, this position can work from home.


In the role you will report to the RPA CoE Lead and be directly responsible for development of complex robots, working with satellite RPA teams and citizen developers to develop robots and support them in the integration and deployment.

The focus is on improving customer experience, improving efficiency, creating new business models and new revenue streams by applying technologies such as Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Digital Transformation will be accomplished through a series of prioritised initiatives on the digitalisation roadmap and these will focus on both increasing Element’s short-term performance and meeting Element’s long-term strategic objectives.



  • Develop RPA solutions to meet the project / program aims
  • Design, build and configure applications utilizing automation tools to meet business process and application requirements
  • Partner with Business Analysts, RPA technical analysts to assist with solution design
  • Configure robotics processes and objects using core workflow principles in an efficient way; ensure they are easily maintainable and easy to understand
  • Maintain proper documentation for the solutions, test procedures and scenarios
  • Support existing processes and implement change requirements as part of a structured change control process
  • Provide advice and guidance to teams involved on best practice and development techniques
  • Communicate with IT teams on RPA software related issues, suggested improvements and participating with other users in the RPA community
  • Support the Business and Operational Teams during implementation, UAT and roll out phases
  • Understand the business process requirements and design
  • Work with business relationship management team and technology teams to analyse and assess automation feasibility
  • Work with project leads on technology platform related issues and provide plausible suggestions for improvements

Skills / Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on RPA development in UiPath
  • Competency and experience at significant and effective scaled deployments
  • Strong communication skills and background in working closely with several technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Challenge solutions prepared by Technical Lead / Business Analysts
  • Experience building bots from scratch
  • Proven ability to provide a high level of software development skills
  • Experience building assisted, unassisted, and orchestrated robots
