Quality Assistant Manager

PCTEST Engineering Laboratory, proud to be part of Element, has an opportunity for Quality Assistant Manager for our Korea operations. In this role you will be a member of the quality team reporting to the Operations Manager or General Manager. You will be an essential member of the Sector management team and responsible for the overall quality performance for Korea. This includes ensuring that the PCTEST quality management system (QMS), as well as customer, industry and operator approvals are maintained and developed. The successful candidate will have experience in the accreditation requirements associated with the business which include ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17065. In this role, you will have regular interaction with Accreditation Bodies and will be responsible for advising operational colleagues of the importance of quality, accuracy and integrity in the provision of the testing and certification services we provide.  This position will be based in Suwon, South Korea and requires permanent residence in South Korea.



  • Implementation and support of Quality Management Systems
  • Lead external quality system assessments and audits for ISO 17025, NVLAP and RRA
  • Conduct in training programs on quality and regulatory related topics
  • Assist for maintenance and verification of all lab equipment
  • Manage traceability of information and records required for certification purposes
  • Maintain an efficient and well organized electronic and paper data collection and filing systems
  • Manage traceability of the samples and test equipment
  • Work cooperatively with all employees in other officesManage traceability of the samples and test equipment

Skills / Qualifications

  • Regulatory Affairs and/or Quality work experience either in ISO 17025 or RRA, preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English will be a plus

  • Must have good organizational skills

  • 2~3 years career experience will be a plus

  • Assisting in data measurement and analysis in programs such as Google Documents, MS Word, MS

  • Excel and Adobe Acrobat

  • Team and customer oriented

  • Motivation to learn and progress as well as drive a culture of quality within the organization

  • Current or Completed Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred

  • GPA 3.5 or higher preferred

  • Ability to work overseas business trips as needed

  • Work location : KOREA
