Overview

Element has an opportunity for a new Warehouse Assistant Operative to join our busy laboratory in Deeside. This is a fast-paced, manual and active role, working where full training will be provided for our new colleague.

 

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the Sample Reception team
  • Logging in of samples into the LIMS system
  • Checking sample delivery receipts
  • Organising the workload and priortising the samples to be logged into the LIMS system
  • Using the LIMS system to scan samples into crates and crates into the correct location
  • Sample Retrieval, storage and disposal duties to maintain the flow within the department
  • Adhering to excellent lab practices and housekeeping at all times

Skills / Qualifications

  • A science background is preferable but not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided – no experience necessary
  • Forklift license and full driving license are preferable but not essential
  • Highly motivated and organised individual
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
