Operations and System Developer (Jeeves ERP)

Element has an opportunity for an Operations and System Developer (m/f/d) for Jeeves ERP, in Arboga or Linköping, Sweden.


We are Element Metech; a full-service provider of measurement technology services for product quality and risk management, we deliver confidence in measurements by providing independent calibration, measuring and consultancy services. Element Metech has companies and operations in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany and Czech Republic and do on-site operations for customers across the globe.


Jeeves Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Element Metech use a scalable platform (called Metech platform) to deliver the services, the frontend is the customer portal Metech Instrument Organizer (MIO™) and the backend is the management system used by us to manage the operations and perform the calibrations in our laboratories.


The basis of the backend Metech Platform is Jeeves Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with its Microsoft SQL database. We use Jeeves Service to manage the calibration services and the Jeeves ERP platform also includes Jeeves reports, Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.


We are upgrading to the latest version of Jeeves ERP, which gives us access to new tools for dashboards and mobility.



You will work with our operations and systems development team (based in Arboga), other Element teams worldwide and external suppliers and you will report to the Technical Director (based in Norrköping).


Your main task is to develop, implement, maintain, support and continuously improve Jeeves ERP platform by:

  • Manage the Jeeves ERP platform and its user communities
  • Develop and implement new features, processes and reports
  • Manage the external development done by Jeeves Information Systems
  • Optimize the processes, reports, user interfaces, roles and permissions
  • Develop process descriptions, user guides and training material
  • Support and training of key users
  • Manage the Jeeves Support provided by Jeeves Information Systems
  • Be the system administrator for Jeeves ERP and do system maintenance, system descriptions and system documentation
  • You will also participate in the general development of the Metech Platform and its systems and processes, including its implementation at new laboratories and countries

Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience with system development and the tools and framework used
    Experience with Jeeves Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a merit
  • Relevant higher education in Systems Development / IT / Engineering
  • Swedish and English is a requirement, other languages is a merit
  • Experience with supporting, training and communicating with internal and external customers
  • We are looking to find a teamplayer who likes to work in a fast paced environment
