Element have an exciting opportunity in their Malvern location for an experienced EMC / Compliance Engineer in their expanding Advisory Services department.

Element’s Advisory Services concept is focused on helping clients understanding what legislative and regulatory requirements apply to their products, identifying their testing requirements, and engaging early to streamline the compliance journey to achieve CE Marking or its international equivalents. The Advisory Services team provide expert advice and consultancy services to complement our extensive testing and certification products. This is focused on, but not limited to, commercial electronic products ranging from domestic products through to industrial capital plant and military equipment

As an Advisory Services (EMC) engineer you will be involved with engaging with the client throughout the compliance process, providing support and guidance in many forms. Being experienced in EMC you will be required to utilise your knowledge and skills in many ways, including;

• Producing EMC Test Plans
• Producing Compliance Strategy documents
• Undertaking Design Reviews
• Performing Gap Analysis reviews
• Providing expert Technical Opinions
• Conducting Compliance Reviews 

Other roles may also include the provision of focused guidance or training, building relationships with our customers by offering on-going support services, and supporting some of our testing services

To be successful in your application for the Advisory Services Engineer role you will require:

• A background in electronics (design, compliance, regulation, QA, test)
• A solid understanding and first-hand experience of EMC Testing (Commercial and/or Military)
• An electronic qualification
