Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business.

 

The scope of work is the calibration of electronic measuring instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers and others). We will provide all the necessary training for both graduates and experienced technicians.


This is a very interesting work with electronic measuring instruments from most global manufacturers (Keysight / Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu and many others). You will become a specialist in electronic measuring instruments, which is a highly valued field not only in our country, but also in the world.

 

Responsibilities

The scope of work is the calibration of electronic measuring instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers and others). We will provide all the necessary training for both graduates and experienced technicians.

  • Responsibility for all operational areas in the laboratory
  • Responsibility for lab calibration parameters (quality, deadlines, requirements, calibration priorities)
  • Implementation of calibrations of standards in the lab, interlaboratory comparisons

Responsibility for on-site sessions, including:

  • Preparation and realisation of on-site sessions
  • ensuring the smooth running and good quality of the onsite session
  • Responsibility for meeting the calibration deadline and deadlines of onsite sessions
  • Responsibility for work safety and compliance with regulations and requirements
  • Checking the availability of standards
  • Calibration of devices on the onsite sessions
  • Technical support for other technicians
  • Responsibility for solving technical questions / problems on the onsite sessions towards customers

Skills / Qualifications

  • University of electrical engineering (or secondary school) - a necessary condition
  • English at an intermediate level (ability to read manuals and ability to communicate)
  • MS Office - good knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with electronic measuring instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal analysers)
  • Independence and flexibility, willingness to travel abroad
  • Drivers license sk. B - active driver
