Senior Credit Controller

Element has an opportunity for a Senior Credit Controller to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your Finance career within a Global TIC business. In this role you will be responisble for managing the credit control / debt recovery operations dealing with local and international clients in a busy laboratory environment in line with the company policies and expectations devising the necessary systems and controls


This position will be based in Ghatkopar West in Mumbai , India




  • Manage credit control operations for the country - collection function as well as establishing controls
  • Establish relevant systems setup, analysis and reporting
  • To establish, develop and maintain sound working relationship with customers
  • Monitors payments received from customers against debtors invoices issued and manage, control and report on the invoice
  • Prepare and present monthly statements in accordance with company policy
  • Demonstrate continuous improvements in cash collection and DSO performance 

Skills / Qualifications

  • Finance or accounting qualification with minimum 5 year experience in busy credit control environment managing credit and collections
  • Competent in the use of spreadsheets and computerized finance systems while having a good working knowledge of tax regulations relavant to the country
  • Customer aptitude and history of managing targets in area of collection deliverables
  • Teamwork and effective communication along with resilience and determination ,not put off by receiving a negative response
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a number of projects and/or work streams simultaneously
