Associate Engineer

Job Locations AE-Abu Dhabi


Element has an opportunity for an Associate Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team in Abu Dhabi.  As a member of the operations team, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and ensure timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision


This position will be based in Abu Dhabi ,UAE



  • Be closely involved as a contributing team member with a variety of assignments with the laboratory while being accountable for technical activities of a limited scope
  • Handle additional responsibilities for release of standard and/or routine data to clients
  • Effectively contribute to technical presentations and communications within the engineering discipline
  • Review technical specifications and standards to understand the scope of work and deliverables and work with the team members to  ensure that the client commitments are fulfilled

Skills / Qualifications

  • Possess a recognized scientific, technical or engineering qualification to a degree level along with working knowledge of laboratory safety

  • 2 years of laboratory testing experience leading to comparable engineering knowledge, competencies and skill preferred

  • An understanding of testing concepts related to Corrosion testing, mechanical and metallurgical testing and ability to analyze and compile testing data from the tests performed

  • Strong computer skills ,good oral and written communication skills in English and basic mathematical Skills

  • Able to meet the physical demands of lifting <50 lbs. often and >50 lbs. on occasions and capable of standing on feet for long periods of time
