Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Systems Accountant (Contract) to join our growing team. In this role you will be a key member of the group finance team which supports the global finance community and the wider business from a financial / practical point of view.

 

An accounting background is required as it will be called upon to support the alignment of the financial reporting policies and practises across the Group. There are several key projects in the pipeline including the implementation of a CPM solution to centralise reporting and dashboarding and the integration and roll out of a D365 system as the standard ERP system across the group

 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the global finance team with training, documentation, and workshops, ensuring the business is able to implement a set of standardised finance practices/policies
  • Administration of financial controls on multiple Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERPs)
  • Responsible for improving reporting solutions for wider business use
  • Interface with all levels of management in various labs and departments, including sales, operations, shared services and all other adjunct functions

Skills / Qualifications

  • Track record within systems accounting is required for this role
  • Proven analytical / problem solving skills
  • Solutions focused experience and ability to deal with multiple projects
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to build relations across Group functions

Specific systems experience

  • Microsoft AX 2009 required
  • Atlas /JET / Bi4Dynamics / Vision (or similar) preferred
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) preferred
  • D365 for Finance & Operations [non essential]
  • Experience with Board CPM [non essential]
  • Experience with Dynamics Nav a plus (2009/2016) [non essential]
  • Experience with reporting / dashboard tools (PowerBI / Tableau / PowerPivot / Business Objects) [non essential)
