Overview

Element has  opportunity for a Chemist (Metals ,Organic) to join our growing team in Dubai and this is a great opportunity to develop your testing career within a Global TIC business

 

In this role , you will be primarily working with with ICP OES (and possibly MS)  handling metals and organic analysis

 

This Postion will be based in DIP area of Dubai

 

Responsibilities

  • Carry out organic as well as ICP analysis
  • Assist in modifying the existing analytical SOPs as and when required
  • Effectively deal with client queries, the final review of the analytical data, releasing / sending the data to the client and setting up new analytical methods
  • Responsible for all analytical aspects of the department and maintain quality records in the laboratory as per ISO 17025
  • Use  chromatography data systems and efficiently utilise the LIMS systems 

Skills / Qualifications

  • Diploma / degree in chemistry with at least 3 to 5 years experience in similar role
  • ICP instrument experience (minimum one year), in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory 
  • Have the ability to work in teams under pressure and flexible to work different working hours (night / day) shifts if required or necessary
  • Good english communication skills along with good maths skills
  • Flexible to meet the role  requirements and ready to work overtime/ nightshifts as the workload dictates (in line with the UAE labour law)
