You may be a recent graduate or have a few years of experience after graduating, ideally with a Mechanical Engineering background.This role requires the successful candidate to be responsible for setting up and carrying out lab work on multiple metallic and non-metallic materials testing projects within the Hydrogen Testing area of the business. Projects will involve research of how metallic and non-metallic materials respond when exposed to Hydrogen gas, measured by characterisation of materials before and after exposure and during exposure.This is a very hands-on role which involves laboratory testing of both large components and small coupon type samples, contact with customers and other laboratories within Element as well as managing of projects including writing of technical reports.
